Traveling on I-12 you'll take the Bass Pro exit at exit number 10. Tiki tubing is only 6 miles north of this exit. Once you arrive at our site you'll find ample parking. You'll want to bring your ice chest and anything else you'll be taking on your trip with you so you do not have to walk back to the car. From the parking lot you'll go to the counter to choose the tube package that you want to use today. There will be mutliple listings the different tubes avaliable. You'll be issued a wrist band that indicates the tube you have chosen.

Once you have you're wrist band you'll board one of the busses for your (6) six minute trip up river to the put in location. If you have forgotten anything you need to take with you on your tubing trip we have a small store. We can help you with ice, water, sun screen, towels, sun glasses etc. You might want to check out our great tshirts and hats also. Don't worry if you miss the first bus there will be another in just a few minutes. They run every 15 minutes from the check in area to the up river put in area.

When you reach the put in location you'll get your tube, and you can enter the river. As you start down the river you'll find that in most places it is only 2 feet deep with a few pockets of deeper water. You have started you four (4) hour tubing trip.

As you slowly float down the river you will come to a large number of sand bars. Lots of people like to stop at these and rest or let the kids play on the sand. The river and the sand bars are public land, but up the bank from the sand bar is private property. Please don't trespass on private property, remain in the river and the sand bar areas.

During your float trip if a rainstorm comes up it will pass pretty quickly. We are after all in south louisiana. The heat from the land rising into the cooler air above us sometimes causes these quick little downpours. Remember to stay on the river or one of the sand bars. Do not get out of the river and start walking. You'll be trespassing on private property, and no one will know where you are. Please stay in or near the river till the shower passes and then continue on down the river to the exit point where you left your car.

At the end of your float trip you'll exit the river at the same location you left your car. We hope you had a good time, and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
